The LSB Experience (LSB: Luntungan, Sligter, Broek) consists of six musicians (in 2023), bonded by their love for timeless music from the seventies.

Here's a biography:

In 2010, Sjoerd van den Broek and Hans Sligter play in a Beatles tribute band, The Old Brown Shoes, taking them to the USA, in order to perform at the world's biggest Beatles Tribute festival: Abbey Road On The River.

Meanwhile they also initiate The LSB Experience, together with Marcel Luntungan, covering music from Crosby, Stills & Nash, Venice, James Taylor, The Eagles, and Jackson Browne.

In 2012, as The Old Brown Shoes are preparing for their second USA trip, AROTR festival fans are discussing YouTube videos of The LSB Experience. Around this time The Old Brown Shoes disband and The LSB Experience is instead invited to the USA, accompanied by drummer Peter Deiman and bassist Rob Hendriks from Hans' band Marathon Men. The Dutch band receives a warm welcome from festivalgoers and organizers.

In 2014, they make a musicians' dream come true by recording the album "The Experience," entirely comprised of original work, at the Bamboo Room Studio in Cincinnati, USA, with producer Erwin Musper.

Subsequent years are filled with numerous performances and tours, including annual trips to the USA and regular mini-tours to the UK, from 2016 on.

In 2018, partnering with comedian/MC Dolf Jansen, the band embark on a highly successful theatertour named "The Story Of The Troubadour," accompanied by an album featuring music from the theater show.

Since 2019, The LSB Experience has participated annually in two music-themed cruises, departing from Miami, cruising through the Caribbean – the 60s Flower Power Cruise and the 70s Rock&Romance Cruise. These events position the group alongside artists like Foreigner, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chicago, 10CC, Todd Rundgren, Grand Funk Railroad, The Family Stone, Don Felder, Don McClean, The Hollies, Jefferson Starship, Gino Vannelli, Leo Sayer, The Little River Band, Peter Asher, The Beach Boys and more, expanding their international connections.

Finding success in the theater circuit, the band launches the theatertour "Beatles&Beyond" in January 2020. Initially intended for one season, the show eventually extends over three years, between various lockdowns. Accompanying the tour is a new CD featuring LSB versions of selected show repertoire, including unique mash-ups created exclusively for the show.

The "Beatles&Beyond" show surpasses the success of "The Story Of The Troubadour”, leading to approval for a successor – "Songs Of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young." This tribute to the legendary Westcoast group features both familiar and "new" CSNY songs.

In 2023 the band got expanded with keyboardist Andy Nijmeijer, bringing a fresh dynamic to the group. The October 2023 start of the "Songs Of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Tour" in Dutch theaters marks the beginning of a two-season run.

The album "Songs of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young" is presented on December 22, 2023, at poppodium De Vorstin in Hilversum.

Looking ahead to 2024, in addition to the "Songs of CSNY Tour," plans include the 60s Flower Power Cruise, the 70s Rock&Romance Cruise, and various other concerts and foreign trips, showcasing that The LSB Experience remains "alive and kicking" after 13 years.
